As you are probably aware there are now three Bank Holiday Mondays in May. The usual two: Early May on the 1st and Spring Bank Holiday on the 29th. But we now have an extra one on the 8th for the Coronation of King Charles. We have decided to close as usual for the first and last but will be staying open but with weekend opening hours on the 8th.

Our next supper club dates are now on sale. This time it's a Filipino feast. A seven dish menu of small plates, which is designed to be shared. Please take a look at the menu below. This is a relaxed, communal dining event, meaning you will be sat on large sharing tables and we encourage everyone to get to know each other throughout the evening. Summer Holiday.
We're all going on a summer holiday. We'll be closed from the 1st to the 8th August. Back open on the 9th August at 8am. We close for a week in the summer every year - most of you know this by now. It means everyone can have time off together, which is very rare. This year is also special as Kat is getting married up in Yorkshire, so some of the staff will be heading up for that and we all need adequate time to prepare / recover!
Birthday and Jubilee! Wrote the title then immediately googled “what is a jubilee”… turns out it’s an anniversary of an event usually denoting the 25th, 40th, 50th etc anniversary and in the case of Queen Lizzie… 70th! We had our 5th STR birthday recently, not quite the same length of time, but a significant milestone for us none the less. We celebrated as we always do with cake! The switched up bank holidays have thrown us a bit but we’ve decided to close for both of them so we can have some time off to celebrate Spring. So that’s both...
