As you are probably aware there are now three Bank Holiday Mondays in May. The usual two: Early May on the 1st and Spring Bank Holiday on the 29th. But we now have an extra one on the 8th for the Coronation of King Charles. We have decided to close as usual for the first and last but will be staying open but with weekend opening hours on the 8th. 1st May: Closed 8th May: 9am-4pm 29th May: Closed Hoping for good weather for all three! The 23rd of September was the Autumn equinox which marked a change in the season, shifting to longer nights than days. The weather is much cooler now and our cosy café is gearing up for a busy run through to December. Our Autumn / Winter menu started on the 3rd October. We have new brunch dishes that reflect the season change and are welcoming back our much loved porridge. There will always be a warming soup or stew on our specials board and we have some new hot chocolate drinks that we think will make a lot of people happy.

Throughout summer we like to play around with different iced teas, like hibiscus and rose or green tea and lemon. At the end of summer our focus will turn to hot drinks but our OG iced tea: Early Grey, elderflower, lemon and mint (made with Bird and Blend Earl Grey tea) will stay on throughout the winter. It's just too good and very popular all year round. We love Bird and Blend.
