Single Variety have been our jam suppliers since 2020. We use their chilli jam in our courgette and sweetcorn fritters dish and their raspberry and blackberry jams with sourdough toast. Blackberry jam season when it comes round is so exciting! It's the best blackberry jam we've tried. We usually add it to our porridge which we have on throughout winter.
Single Variety use British fruit where possible and a lot of work has gone into finding the tastiest fruit varieties for each jam (as the name suggests just one variety goes into each product). They use the least amount of sugar possible. This means most have a softer set than other jams which we definitely prefer!
Sustainability is also high on their agenda. We have a lot of fun with their dissolvable packing beans made from plant starch. Please see Instagram / TikTok for evidence.
They have just released a new flavour - Victoria plum. Excuse us while we come up with an excuse to add this to the menu too!
